Coffee Can Drum

Materials:

1. empty coffee can with 2 plastic lids
2. can opener
3. contact paper
4. stickers
5. glue
6. pencil
7. empty thread spool

Directions:

1. Use a can opener to cut the bottom out of the coffee can.
2. Cover the coffee can with contact paper.
3. Decorate with stickers.
4. Glue plastic lids on each end of the can.
5. Make a durmstick by gluing the lead end of a pencil into the hole of an empty thread spool.
6. Variation: use an empty paper towel roll and an empty oatmeal container for a soft set of drums for toddlers.
