Colorful Heart Suncatchers

Materials:

1. Yarn
2. Waxed paper
3. Glue
4. Water
5. Paint
6. Hole punch

Directions:

1. Soak a length of yarn in a solution that is equal parts white glue and water.
2. Shake off any excess, then shape the yarn into a heart on waxed paper.
3. Repeat to make a smaller heart inside the first one, if you like.
4. Let the yarn dry (1-2 days); do not remove it from the waxed paper.
5. Tint mini bottles of white glue with a few drops of paint.
6. Fill the heart with a thin layer of glue.
7. Let the glue dry (1-2 days).
8. After it has dried, peel the heart from the paper, then use a hole punch and string to hang it.
