Eggshell Planter
Materials:
- 5-6 inch strip of card stock
- markers, stickers, or paint
- tape or glue
- clean eggshell halves
- potting soil
- grass or herb seeds, such as chives
- black marker (optional)
Directions:
- Decorate the strip of card stock with markers, stickers or paint
- Tape or glue the ends together to make a ring.
- Use a small spoon to fill an eggshell with potting soil.
- Add seeds.
- Cover seeds with soil.
- Place the eggshell in the card stock holder.
- If desired, draw a face on the eggshell with a black marker.
- Carefully water with a teaspoon when needed.
- Watch the seeds sprout! When seedlings grow large enough, give them "haircuts" with scissors or transplant into a larger container or garden.
