Erupting Volcano

Materials:

1. large paper plate
2. 3 ounce disposable bathroom cup
3. aluminum foil
4. scotch tape
5. scissors
6. pan or tray
7. 2 tablespoons water
8. 1 tablespoon baking powder
9. a cup
10. 2 tablespoons vinegar

Directions:

1. Tape the bottom of the bathroom cup to the middle of the plate.
2. Tear off a piece of foil large enough to completely cover the cup and plate.
3. Tape the foil in place.
4. Poke a hole through the foil into the middle of the cup.
5. Tape the foil to the edge of the cup.
6. Place the volcano on a pan or tray (to catch the "lava")
7. Place water and baking soda in the bathroom cup inside the volcano.
8. Mix well.
9. Measure vinegar into a separate cup.
10. Pour vinegar into the volcano and watch it erupt!
