Fitness Course
Materials:
- index cards
- markers
- pictures of exercises (or draw your own)
- glue
Directions:
- Write a physical activity on each index card.
- Glue pictures of the activity on each card (or draw your own).
- Use your fitness cards for fitness activities in your day care.
- Activity 1: Set up fitness stations. Place 1 card at each station. Have children do the activity at each station.
- Activity 2. Shuffle cards. Deal an equal number of cards to each child. Have the children do the activities on his/her cards for their own "personalized" workout!
