Fitness Course

Materials:

  1. index cards
  2. markers
  3. pictures of exercises (or draw your own)
  4. glue

Directions:

  1. Write a physical activity on each index card.
  2. Glue pictures of the activity on each card (or draw your own).
  3. Use your fitness cards for fitness activities in your day care.
  4. Activity 1: Set up fitness stations. Place 1 card at each station. Have children do the activity at each station.
  5. Activity 2. Shuffle cards. Deal an equal number of cards to each child. Have the children do the activities on his/her cards for their own "personalized" workout!
