Fun Footprints

Materials:

1. shoes
2. marker(s)
3. scissors
4. colored contact paper
5. carpeted floor

Directions:

1. Trace the bottom of a pair of shoes on colored contact paper.
2. Make as many pairs of footprints as desired.
3. Cut out the footprint pairs.
4. Stick the footprints in a trail across the carpet to make a path to follow.
5. (Choose surfaces that won't be damaged if sticking footprints on surfaces other than carpet.)
6. Footprints can go up and down stairs, outdoors, or through climbing toys!
7. Extension: Think of other kinds of prints to make, such as handprints, paw prints, or baby footprints!
8. Variation: make this more challenging by hopping on one foot or stepping on every other footprint.
