Greeting Card Placemats

Materials:

1. old greeting cards
2. clear contact paper
3. scissors
4. colored construction paper
5. markers or crayons

Directions:

1. Choose pictures or shapes from old greeting cards.
2. Cut out shapes. Use scissors with scalloped edges or pinking shears for decorative edges.
3. Glue pieces to a piece of construction paper.
4. Use markers or crayons to add the child's name or a holiday greeting.
5. Cut sheet(s) of contact paper with a 3/4 inch border around the paper.
6. Cover the placemat with contact paper.
7. These placemats look festive AND wipe clean after meals!
