Keep Em' Guessing

Materials:

1. old magazines or pictures
2. scissors
3. index cards
4. glue
5. a box to place index cards in (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut out pictures of people, places, or things.
2. Try to choose pictures the children are familiar with.
3. Glue one picture on each index card.
4. Let dry completely.
5. Mix up the cards and place face down in the box.
6. Have one child choose a card.
7. The child should act out the item on the card.
8. The day care provider should give clues to help the other children guess.
9. Once the children guess the item, choose another child to pick another card.
10. The game ends when the cards are gone or children lose interest.
