Leaf Art
Materials:
- fresh fall leaves
- waxed paper
- scissors
- glue
- tempera paint
- plate(s)
- paintbrushes
- hole punch
- string
Directions:
- Cut two pieces of waxed paper a little larger than a leaf.
- Mix a small amount of glue and tempera paint on a plate.
- Use a paintbrush to paint glue on the pieces of waxed paper.
- Place a leaf on top of the glue on one sheet of waxed paper.
- Cover with the other sheet of waxed paper.
- Press together.
- Let dry.
- Punch a hole in the top of the sheet.
- Tie a string through the hole.
- Hang in a window. Makes beautiful art on a sunny day!
- Can also be used to make holiday ornaments!
