Leaf Art

Materials:

  1. fresh fall leaves
  2. waxed paper
  3. scissors
  4. glue
  5. tempera paint
  6. plate(s)
  7. paintbrushes
  8. hole punch
  9. string

Directions:

  1. Cut two pieces of waxed paper a little larger than a leaf.
  2. Mix a small amount of glue and tempera paint on a plate.
  3. Use a paintbrush to paint glue on the pieces of waxed paper.
  4. Place a leaf on top of the glue on one sheet of waxed paper.
  5. Cover with the other sheet of waxed paper.
  6. Press together.
  7. Let dry.
  8. Punch a hole in the top of the sheet.
  9. Tie a string through the hole.
  10. Hang in a window. Makes beautiful art on a sunny day!
  11. Can also be used to make holiday ornaments!
