Leaf Rubbings

Materials:

1. A selection of leaves
2. Paper
3. Crayons, pastels, charcoal or colored pencils

Directions:

1. Place a leaf under a sheet of paper and rub with a crayon. Younger kids may need an adult to hold the paper still.
2. Watch the impression of the leaf appear on the page.
