May Baskets

Materials:

1. paper plates
2. scissors
3. markers, paint, or crayons
4. stapler
5. hole punch
6. yarn or ribbon

Directions:

1. Cut a plate in half. You will need 1 1/2 plates per child.
2. Decorate the bottom of the plates with crayons, markers, or paint.
3. Let dry completely.
4. Place the half plate on top of a whole plate with the bottom facing outward to make a "pocket."
5. Punch two holes in the top to hang the basket.
6. String yarn or ribbon through the holes. Tie the ends.
7. Fill your May basket with flowers or treats. Leave on a door handle for neighbors and friends!
