Mixed-up Mittens

Materials:

1. mittens

Directions:

1. Have the children remove their mittens.
2. Place them in a pile in the middle of a big room.
3. Make sure that the mittens are all mixed up.
4. Then have the children stand in a circle around the pile.
5. At your signal, the players should race to locate their own mittens.
6. The first child to find and put on the right winter gear and shout "Mitten Match" wins.
7. Variations: You can complicate matters by including hats or boots in the pile, too.
