My Pet Turtle

Materials:

1. paper bowls
2. green and brown paint
3. green construction paper
4. markers
5. stapler
6. yarn
7. tape

Directions:

1. Turn the bowl upside down. This will be the turtle's shell.
2. Paint the bowl green. Let dry. Paint brown spots on top. Let dry.
3. Cut front and back feet out of green construction paper.
4. Staple to the bowl.
5. Cut out a head (and neck) and a tail out of green construction paper.
6. Staple to the bowl.
7. Poke a hole in the middle of the top of the bowl (or "turtle shell").
8. Thread a piece of yarn through the hole. Tape to the inside of the bowl.
9. Take your "pet turtle" for a walk!
