Paper Bag Pumpkins

Materials:

1. Crayons
2. Scissors
3. White Glue
4. Newspaper
5. Construction paper
6. Paper lunch bags
7. Green (or brown) curling ribbon

Directions:

1. Color the top of each bag with green crayon for a "stem."
2. Color the rest of the bag in pumpkin colors (oranges, browns, yellows, and greens).
3. Crumple up newspaper.
4. Fill bags up to the stem with newspaper.
5. Twist the top of each bag together at the stem.
6. Tie shut with green curling ribbon.
7. Add green or brown leaves at the top with construction paper.
8. Use construction paper to make eyes, nose, and a mouth for each pumpkin.
9. Glue the face pieces onto each pumpkin.
10. Use scissors to curl the curling ribbon for pumpkin "vines."
