Simple Sled Craft

Materials:

1. paper plates
2. markers, crayons, or paints
3. hole punch
4. ribbon
5. scissors

Directions:

1. Give each child a paper plate.
2. Have each child decorate his/her plate with crayons, markers, or paint.
3. Let dry completely.
4. Punch two holes on the left side of the plate.
5. Punch two holes on the right side of the plate.
6. These will be the "handles" for the sled.
7. Thread ribbon through the holes to make the handles for the sled.
8. Cut the ribbon and knot the ribbon on the back of the sled.
9. Activity idea: take dolls or bears for a ride on your "sled!"
