Snowman Scavenger Hunt

Materials:

  1. carrot
  2. scarf
  3. hat
  4. gloves or mittens
  5. "snow man eyes," such as 2 rocks or 2 lumps of coal
  6. "arms," such as twigs

Directions:

  1. Gather a bunch of items that you might use to decorate a snowman.
  2. This could include a carrot, scarf, hat, gloves, mittens, rocks, and twigs.
  3. Write each of the items you collected on a piece of paper.
  4. Hide the snowman parts throughout the house.
  5. Help the children read the list and try to find all of the items.
  6. Once all of the items are found, hide them again (or, if it's snowing, go make a snowman!)
