Spare Mitten Octopus

Materials:

1. Single glove
2. Needle and thread
3. Dry rice
4. Hot glue
5. Large pom-pom
6. Buttons
7. Wire
8. Ribbon
9. Felt

Directions:

1. Tuck the thumb inside the glove.
2. Use the needle and thread to sew the thumb hole shut.
3. Fill the glove with dry rice.
4. Tuck the cuff inside.
5. Sew along the cuff's edge, then pull the thread tightly to close the top. Knot the top.
6. Sew or hot glue pom-pom to the top.
7. Pinch sides of glove where the fingers attach to the palm. Sew a few stitches to hold them together.
8. Sew or hot glue buttons for eyes.
9. Use a piece of felt to make the mouth.
10. Attach buttons to the undersides of fingers to make tentacles.
11. Use ribbon to make a scarf.
12. Use wire and buttons to make earrings.
