Toss in the Can

Materials:

1. Sock ball, beanbag, or yarn ball
2. Empty trash can or tub

Directions:

1. Place the can or tub close to the child.
2. Show the child how to toss the ball or beanbag into the can.
3. Encourage the child to use one hand, using either an overhand or underhand toss.
4. Younger children may use both hands if needed.
5. As the child gains confidence, you can move the target further away.
