Ingredients (homes):

  • 1 pound (weight) cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • OR 3 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, drained, rinsed
  • 4 ounces (weight) shredded mozzarella cheese (about 1 cup)
  • OR 1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1-2 Tablespoons mild buffalo wing sauce
  • 10 burrito size flour tortillas (weighing about 71 grams each)

Ingredients (centers):

  • 4 pounds (weight) cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • OR 1 (108 oz.) can + 1 (19 oz.) can pinto beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 pound (weight) shredded mozzarella cheese (about 5 cups)
  • OR 1 (109 oz.) can black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 - 2 cups ranch dressing
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup mild buffalo wing sauce
  • 40 burrito size flour tortillas (weighing about 71 grams each)

Directions:

  1. Mix ranch dressing and buffalo sauce.
  2. Toss chicken and cheese (OR pinto and black beans) in sauce.
  3. For meat/cheese version, portion onto a tortilla: Serve 1/6 cup (#24 scoop) for 1 oz. eq. portions for ages 1-2; Serve 1/4 cup (#16 scoop) for 1 1/2 oz. eq. portions for ages 3-5; and 1/3 cup (#12 scoop) for 2 oz. eq. portions for ages 6+.
  4. For bean version, portion onto a tortilla: Serve 1/4 cup (#16 scoop) for 1 oz. eq. portions for ages 1-2; 3/8 cup (#10 scoop) for 1 1/2 oz. eq. portions for ages 3-5; and 1/2 cup (#8 scoop) for 2 oz. eq. portions for ages 6+.

Serve:

1 wrap = 2 oz. eq. meat/meat alternate + 1 oz. eq. grain.
Use whole wheat tortillas to count as your whole grain for the day!
