Cheesy Cabbage

Ingredients (homes):

  • 1 lb. 4 oz. Cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Margarine, melted
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 lb. American Cheese
  • 1 cup Crumbled Crackers (Like Ritz)

Ingredients (centers):

  • 3 lbs. Cabbage, shredded
  • 2/3 cup Margarine, melted
  • 2 1/4 cups Milk
  • 2 lb. 4 oz. American Cheese
  • 2 1/4 cups Crumbled Crackers (Like Ritz)

Directions:

  1. Place cabbage in pan(s). Pour margarine and milk on top.
  2. Top with a layer of cheese and sprinkle with crumbs.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F until cabbage is tender, about 45 min. for a 9" x 13" pan.

Serve:

1/2 cup counts as 1 1/2 ounce meat/alternate and 1/3 cup veggies
