Ingredients (homes):

  • 1 1/4 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 TBSP. Baking Powder
  • 1 TBSP. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 TBSP. Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

Ingredients (centers):

  • 2 1/2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 TBSP. Baking Powder
  • 2 TBSP. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup Water

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in medium bowl.
  2. Stir in milk, oil, and enough water to make a thick batter. Do not over mix.
  3. Bake on hot, greased griddle until tops are bubbly and edges are dry.
  4. Flip. Cook 1-2 minutes longer until cooked through.
  5. Serving suggestion: Top with fresh fruit, applesauce, or nut/seed butter.

Serve:

1 pancake = 1/2 oz. eq. grain
