Fruit Water

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen fruit (ex. sweet cherries, blueberries, etc.)
  • 1 pitched water
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (lemon, lime, or orange slices)

Directions:

  1. Place frozen fruit in the bottom of a pitcher. Let defrost for 10-15 minutes. Crush slightly.
  2. Fill pitcher with water. Add fresh fruit.
  3. Refrigerate before serving to let flavor mix.

Serve:

Try lime slices with frozen sweet cherries OR lemon slices with frozen blueberries.
This recipe does NOT count towards meal components.
However, water must be offered throughout the day to keep kids hydrated.
