Granola Cereal II (WG)

24 (1/4 cup) oz. eq. Portions

Ingredients (homes):
- 6 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
Ingredients (centers):
- 12 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Oil
- 2/3 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 TBSP. Vanilla
Directions:
- Mix rolled oats and brown sugar.
- Whisk together oil, honey, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Pour and stir into oat mixture.
- Spread on a baking sheet coated with nonstick spray.
- Bake at 350 degrees. Stir every 5 minutes until golden, about 30 minutes total.
- Cool.
Serve:
1 Portion = 1 oz. eq. whole grain.
Serve with 1/4 cup diced fresh fruit or 2 TBSP. dried fruit for each 1-2 year old at breakfast to count as 1/4 cup fruit.
Serve with 1/4 cup dried fruit for each child 3+ years at breakfast to count as 1/2 cup fruit.
