Ingredients (homes):

  • 3/4 pound (~4 1/4 cup) Rotini, whole wheat
  • 3 (12 oz.) can Tuna, drained
  • 3 cup Peas, frozen, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cup Celery, chopped, thawed (optional)
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cup Cheese, low fat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Low-fat Mayonnaise

Ingredients (centers):

  • 1 1/2 pound (~8 1/4 cup) Rotini, whole wheat
  • 6 (12 oz.) can Tuna, drained
  • 6 cup Peas, frozen, thawed
  • 3 cup Celery, chopped, thawed (optional)
  • 2 cup Onion, chopped (optional)
  • 3 cup Cheese, low fat, shredded
  • 3 cup Low-fat Mayonnaise

Directions:

  1. Cook rotini according to package directions.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Chill before serving.

Serve:

1 Portion = 1 1/2 oz. meat/meat alt. and 1/2 oz. eq. bread/grain
