Watermelon Banana Boat

Makes:

4 Servings or 7 cups.


Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 3 cups watermelon
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup caramel fruit dip
  • 1/4 cup honey roasted almonds(optional)

Directions:

  1. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise then cut each piece in half.
  2. For each serving, lay 2 banana pieces against sides of a shallow dish.
  3. Using a 1/2 cup ice cream scoop, scoop three scoops out of a medium watermelon and place in between each banana in dish.
  4. Top each watermelon "scoop" with a different fruit topping.
  5. Drizzle caramel fruit dip over all.
  6. Optional; Sprinkle with almonds.

Serve:

Serve 1/2 cup fruit to each 1-5 year old for snack.
Serve 3/4 cup fruit to each 6-12 year old for snack.
